Preparation and Usage

How to cook
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide.
Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.
1. Empty the contents of the sachet into a medium sized bowl.
2. Add 350 ml of boiling water and an optional 15g (1/2 oz) butter.
3. Mix well with a fork.
4. Serve and enjoy.

You will need the following:
1 sachet of instant mash
1 box of breadcrumbs
1 egg
Tin of salmon
1/2 lemon squeezed
1 tbsp chopped chives
Vegetable oil for shallow frying

Make the instant mash as per instructions (using 300ml boiling water instead of 350ml) and leave to cool. Place the breadcrumbs on a plate and season well. Beat the egg and pour into a shallow bowl. Empty the contents of the tin of salmon into a bowl along with cooked mash, lemon and chives, and mix. Mould the cooled mash into 6 round patties. Dip the fishcakes into the egg and then into the breadcrumbs. Repeat this process with all the fishcakes. Shallow fry the fishcakes for 3-5 minutes or until golden. Serve with side salad. Serves 2
